Lennex the Dancing Bear Packer
A crowd had gathered in the little town square, drawn in closer by the ever alluring sounds of music. The tune was jovial as he drew his bow across the fiddle, enough to tempt even the stillest of feet to begin to tap in time with the song. The townspeople clapped along as the massive bear sang along with his instrument, his voice baritone and deep. It was as rich as the cakes the baker down the street crafted and as loud as thunder across the plains in the summer. It was hard not to allow his jolly attitude to seep into the bones of all that were in attendance. The Kudu stood on the fringes of the crowd, small smile on her lips as she watched the show. Lennex made a living on his little sideshow attraction, for no bear in the land could play the fiddle as he could. She always enjoyed when she just so happened to come across a town he was preforming in, his act never ceased to bring a little joy to her soul. He entertained the crowd, singing and dancing in such a fluid motion. After the joyous act had ended and the villagers had filled Lennex’s tip jar to the brim, the Kudu made her way toward the hulking bear. He gave her a wide, toothy grin. She dropped a handful of coin into the jar and nodded toward him.
“Always a spectacular show,” She complimented.
He bowed deep and low.
“Ah, I always aim to please, ma’dam,” He replied as he stood and tipped his hat in her direction.
